weeks following your surgery. *Avoid heavy lifting and hard physical activity for 1 to 2 weeks. *Do not take baths or showers for 24 hours. *Try to avoid constipation and straining with bowel movements. *Try not to roll over on your nose. *Do not wear your glasses or sunglasses where they rest on the top of your nose. *To prevent bleeding, avoid blowing for your nose for the first 2 weeks after surgery. *Keep your head elevated. Sleep with an extra pillow or two.

3 days hospitalisation is needed and avoid airplane travel for a week after surgery.
